A prenatal training with the intention of making Prenatal Yoga beneficial for ALL pregnant bodies. Pregnancy is a time of profound transformation, not just physically but also in your living. Our mission is that every pregnant person’s experience is supported, celebrated and reflected back to them in Prenatal Yoga.
A combination of video practices, livestreamed/recorded zoom lectures, zoom group conversations and one-on-one zoom mentoring sessions make this training accessible across a range of time zones and personal schedules. Our teaching team brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise and diverse lived experiences to this training. And we welcome your knowledge, lived experiences and questions.
This training is for Yoga Teachers wanting to gain Pre-Natal knowledge and for Doulas, Physical and Occupational Therapists, and wellness professionals who would like to add PreNatal Yoga to your offerings (you do not have to be 200-hour yoga certified)

This Training Includes:
Diverse teaching team with a variety of expertise and lived experience
8, 5-hour zoom lectures (held on Saturdays, from 11am-4pm EST on Jan 9 & 30, Feb 6 & 27, March 6 & 20 and April 10 & 24) *Most lecture content will be recorded, but live participation is required in at least 50% of the lectures
4, 1.5-hour live zoom discussions *these will not be recorded
4 private mentor sessions with Liz
16 Prenatal Yoga videos for use during the training
Digital manual with hyperlinks to supporting material
Slack or What’s App for trainees to be in community and share info
Tiered Pricing
The basic principle driving tiered pricing is Equity. Whereas equality means offering the same thing to everyone for the same price, equity is a way to redistribute resources so that people with more financial resources pay more, so that people with less financial resources don’t have to miss out on the offering or suffer hardship to pay for the offering. I offer the following 3 prices tiers, please choose the pricing tier that best
EQUITY – the lowest cost. This is the price you can pay if you will benefit, enjoy or grow from the workshop or training, but paying one of the higher two prices would prevent you from being able justify the cost.
SUSTAINABILITY – the medium cost. This is the price that feels right for those that can pay enough to help sustain the Brooklyn Yoga Life programming while also sustaining their own financial health and wellbeing. It might squeeze a little to pay, but you can do it and you feel like the value of what you will get in return matches your contribution.
RE-BALANCING – the highest cost. If you are someone who is able to pay bills and enjoy a lunch out without taking a deep breath and letting go of some anxiety, this price is for you. It balances out some of the extra that you have -- be it from family wealth, a partner who helps support your financial wellbeing, or a high paying kickass career – to support the people in your community who have less money to pull from. It is your acknowledgement that you hold financial privilege, and your chance to contribute some of that privilege to community care.
