About Liz

Everyone’s vision, path and lived experience is different, and the vastness of the yogic practices bring us into our truth and holds space for others to be in theirs. With over 20 years of yoga practice and teaching, connecting to my breath and body offers me a way out of denial and into relationship with reality.

I’m a mom, former yoga studio co-owner, labor organizer, community builder, culture shifter, question asker, and friend. Yoga weaves into every moment and facet of my life so I can bring compassion, vitality and justice with me into every space and relationship. As a yoga and embodied practice facilitator, I see my role as a supporter of supporters — we’ll work together to find practices that are nourishing and supportive of you so you can nourish and support the relationships and projects you are passionate about.

My specialty is working with people Pre- and Post-Natally, traveling with you during a transformational part of your life, giving you time, space and techniques to relate to yourself well into parenthood as much of your attention turns to those you are caring for.

My philosophy is that individual care can and should lead to collective wellbeing, and that collective wellbeing cannot happen when individual care is ignored. Respecting the people and cultures of India and South Asia, the creators and cultivators of yoga and Ayurveda, means using the practices not just for personal comfort but for everyone’s liberation from systems of oppression.
